We are implying that we have commenced our network framework. First, we educate the public on our service offerings. Then we complete the setup of our marketing and distribution network. Finally, we commence commercial roll-out of our service.

How much will it cost me to buy an STB when eventually you kick start? Then will I have to buy additional data in order to stream your STB? Or how will I be able to use it when you say it doesn’t require a satellite or a decoder?

    • Pipul TV-Reply
      November 2, 2017 at 12:22 pm

The STB cost will be announced soon. Subscribers do not require any data overhead. The monthly subscription provides access to everything. Our proprietary network technology eliminates the need for you to buy data. You will only need to obtain our STB. No installation required whatsoever. No dish, no antenna.

Dont deceive yourself, your N3500 will not make sense to people, you can count me right on that. You need to listen to people, DSTV has good product but people are against them because of the price. If you have 1million channels on your platform, i can tell you people already have their choices which may not be up to 10. To tell them to pay your N3500 might work for 1 or 2 months after which you start hearing stories

i believe your services will revolutionize pay TV services in Nigeria an thus your subscribers would eventually explode. Considering the technology of your services i would advice you guys should not be over subscribed so as not to over burden your bandwidth. Nigerians detests poor services.
Its imperative you guys maintain your buffer free transmission as promised.
hey! its about month end and you are yet to announce the price of STB. Dont do promise and fail o.
World cup is barely more than a month from now and you are yet to launch. pls lunch on time o.
Last question ; since your STB is plug and play through AV or HDMI, can it work with a laptop that has HDMI?

    • Pipul TV-Reply
      April 29, 2018 at 8:17 am

Thank you so much, Andy. Your comments are very much appreciated.
The price of the STB has not been made public yet as we are still working on modalities to release the box at the lowest price possible.
The HDMI and AV on the STBs are OUT devices designed to connect to projection (display) units. Hence it would not work with your laptop HDMI which is also an OUT port. However, portable devices can connect to the STB via the inbuilt WiFi.
