How is Pipul TV different from any other pay-TV service?

The Pipul TV service will be unique for four reasons:

Equipment. In what would be an overwhelming move to successfully set Nigerian broadcast spectrum firmly on the digital platform, our equipment provides a very simple solution. Our STB is different, never having been used locally, and is capable of operating anywhere within the country without need for installation, cabling or antenna. Simply connect to any television set (via AV or HDMI) and enjoy. It is customised to increase speed and quality of transmission while providing added features such as WiFi, video gaming, video conferencing and over-the-air (OTA) upgrade and management capabilities. The antenna-free STB is fully mobile, can be easily carried around and operated from any location, even while in motion. No additional software or hardware requirements. It is full plug-and-play.

Cost. Monthly subscriber tariff will be as low as N3,500, for full access to over 19,000 video-on-demand titles (movies and TV series) and over 400 premium, live tv channels.

Content. Pipul TV offers access to American, European and Asian tv channels of all genres, including movies, entertainment, news. Pipul TV offers 53 dedicated sports channels, featuring Nigerian and major African, American and European (English, Spanish, French, Italian and German) leagues and all FIFA competitions. Nigerian movies, music and entertainment, award, talent shows and pageants receive premium focus on this network as it is ultimately designed to sell the Nigerian brand to the world.

Ubiquity. Pipul TV service is available across the entire country from day one! Subscribers can gain uninterrupted access from anywhere, even while driving across the town! The STB can be purchased anywhere and used anywhere.

We are implying that we have commenced our network framework. First, we educate the public on our service offerings. Then we complete the setup of our marketing and distribution network. Finally, we commence commercial roll-out of our service.

How much will it cost me to buy an STB when eventually you kick start? Then will I have to buy additional data in order to stream your STB? Or how will I be able to use it when you say it doesn’t require a satellite or a decoder?

    • Pipul TV-Reply
      November 2, 2017 at 12:22 pm

The STB cost will be announced soon. Subscribers do not require any data overhead. The monthly subscription provides access to everything. Our proprietary network technology eliminates the need for you to buy data. You will only need to obtain our STB. No installation required whatsoever. No dish, no antenna.

      2. There is no data subscription at the moment.
      3. The price will be announced shortly. However, you can rest assured the price will be very affordable.
      4. Ultimately, yet. However, that will depend on the location and nearness to our network facilities at the moment.

Dont deceive yourself, your N3500 will not make sense to people, you can count me right on that. You need to listen to people, DSTV has good product but people are against them because of the price. If you have 1million channels on your platform, i can tell you people already have their choices which may not be up to 10. To tell them to pay your N3500 might work for 1 or 2 months after which you start hearing stories

No, please. We do not advise anyone to abandon their existing, comfortable and satisfactory choices. This service is primarily for those who are presently unable to afford or gain access to premium quality cable TV and a wider range of Video-on-demand services
